6 Tips to Avoid Lose Nutrients when Juicing Fruits and Veggies

There are many types of blenders on the market, but I heard that some would destroy the dietary fiber of food. Is this true? How should I choose?

1. No matter what machine you choose to beat fruit and vegetable juice, the least amount of nutrients is lost when you drink it immediately after winning.

2. If the slag is not removed, the dietary fiber in the raw material will not be destroyed after the juice is made.

3. Foods rich in vitamin C, such as lemons and citrus, are put in later. You can squeeze lemon juice after the vegetable juice is done.

This is because most of the macronutrients in fruit and vegetable juices, such as carbohydrates, vegetable protein, and dietary fiber, are not lost much during preparation. In contrast, relatively more vitamins are lost, especially vitamin C.

4. Try to choose a juicer with a lower speed.

The higher the rotational speed, the more vitamins will be lost relatively.

5. For fruit and vegetable juice, if you do not consider the tasting price and other factors, only from the point of view of retaining nutrients, especially dietary fiber, I feel that the recommended value is ranked blender, wall break, original juicer, and juicer.

6. The machines for making fruit and vegetable juices can be divided into two categories:

  • The first category is the blender and wall-breaker, both of which do not remove slag; everything is still in, and dietary fiber loss less; wall-breaker can be understood as a higher-speed blender;
  • The second category is the original juicer and juicer, which are all slag removed, most of the dietary fiber will be lost, and the original juicer can be understood as a lower-speed juicer.
